A theatrical and culinary experience: O, sonce moje
The event “O, sonce moje” transports us to Idrija in 1922, four years after the end of World War I. Visitors follow the Črv family and, through their stories, learn about the lives of townspeople, mining heritage, and local customs. The performance seamlessly blends theater, music, gastronomy, and historical context. Guests will enjoy a four-course menu based on hundred-year-old recipes from the legacy of the last inhabitants of Hiša Giser.
ARCHITECTURAL WALK
How and where did Idrija’s miners live in the past? How were houses built in Idrija over a century ago, and what specialized knowledge was required? What exactly does the word “prhavz” mean?
